So sorry to hear of Fred's passing. He will be greatly missed, but he'll live on in his adventures written on his site. Thanks to his wonderful humans for sharing with us all!
Dear Cathie and Mr. B. (aka the Grumpy One!) Ken and I were so sorry to learn of poor sweet Freddykins death. He was a sweet little guy coming up to me for lovely back scratches and being a perfect gentleman when y'all had to go to the UK. We teased a lot about you "abandoning him" at that time, well I teased, he just put up with me. It is sad that I will no longer see his sleepy eyes coming towards me when I come to visit, but I'm sure he is keeping watch where ever kitty's heaven is. Dear Freddy made a lot of people happy most especially you two so during your grieving, I send you all my love and sympathy, xxxx
A donation has been made to the Andrew Davis Memorial Fund in memory of Freddy.
There will never be another Freddy. He was such a unique and wonderful cat. I am going to miss him more than you know. My thoughts are with you.

I am so sorry you lost Freddy so suddenly. Just find comfort knowing he is now waiting happily for you on that rainbow bridge above.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I know Freddy meant the world to you. Take care.
I know it's never easy to lose a special friend. My thoughts are with you.

Oh My. I just read this e-mail. Words cannot describe how sad I am, and my human Annie is too, about your loss. We are sending big hugs to you and will write more later once we have had a chance to wipe away the tears. Yes dogs cry.

Cathie, My condolences on the loss of your cat. I am sory that I had such a sad introduction to Fredcat. I too lost a cat about four years ago and I still haven't had the heart to replace her. Peace to you,
Fred, We are so sorry you have had to go to the bridge...you will be missed. What an absolutely goregous cat you are ... and will forever be. Purrs,
Oh Fredcat we are terribly sorry for your family. What an awesome spectacle of a cat you were. Love,
I am purring for your people who are mourning your loss, if you need help here at the Bridge look me up okay.
Poor Fredcat, and poor Cathy and Mr B, you must be so sad. I'm sorry for you loss. I cried tonight when I read about Famous Fredcat. He was a good cat and I will miss his website. Your Fredcat is safe at the Rainbow Bridge now. These Rainbow Bridge thoughts might help you. I hope so. your little cat will be remembered by many, many people. Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.... Author unknown... Love and hugs,
To Fred the cat, a.k.a 'Fredcat', sorry to see the ginger “pocket-rocket” never made it to a “thousand not out”', it was not meant to be, beside which, he's up there, in the cats home in the sky, stuffing his face, full of “Whiskas' and pilchards, (surely a diet, any feline (male or female), would happily die for ... p. s; don't try this diet at home, tis not very nice, i should know...I tried it...dammit I invented it), looking down on us mere mortals, saying... "So long and thanks for all the fish...", at which point, for some reason ”42” springs to mind ..? Anyhow Fred, my old cock sparrow hunter, along with mice(s), its a fond Bon Voyage, Rest In Peace, Freddo.
Dear Fredcat, we are sorry you had to leave your family. Yours pals,
Dear Cathie (and Fredcat's other family): We are so saddened to hear of Fredcat's passing. We wish to express our sincerest condolences to Fredcat's human, who is now grieving the loss of her good friend. We know Fredcat is no longer sick or weak, and we know for a fact that his spirit lives on - though whether he goes to wait for his humans and watch over them, or whether he chooses to come back to earth in another body or go on to some other, totally new adventure - only Fredcat knows that answer. But we also know how hard it is to lose that physical Fredcat of whiskers and fur, claws and purrs. Time will heal the pain of that loss somewhat, so we hope that you will be kind to yourself and let yourself grieve for Fredcat. His site is a beautiful memorial to a beautiful feline.
My heart goes out to Cathie & Mr. B. (who I have always suspected is not the least bit grumpy.) Always Love From Above, Fredcat! we'll help watch over your pawrents & try to guide them through this sad time...
Purrs for you and your family. We hope you had a peaceful journey to the Bridge. Purrs, Rusty, Annie, Pumpkin, Tommy, Sam, Buffy and Fledermaus ("Bat")
You're going to need a beachball for playing ATB. Here's one.

Remember him with smiles. "The deeper that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain." by Kahlil Gibran. Goodnight Fredcat. Cross the bridge.
I am so sorry to hear of your passing, Fredcat. You are a special boy and I'm sure you will watch over your humans while you enjoy your time at the Bridge. Someday you will be reunited with them forever.
We are so sorry for your loss. Fredcat looked amazing and he will be missed.
On behalf of Dexter Jeebus and the Brilliant Orange Cats Unite (BOCU) family, we are sincerely sorry for your loss. Fredcat will certainly be missed. Many hugs to Cathie.
Hello Fredcat the Famous! I am so sorry that we did not get to be furr-riends during your earthly life. Perhaps we can rectify that now by becoming furr-riends? My bruvvers and sisters like your page too and would like to tag along - is that alright?
I wish upon a star. My wish is that I knew you better. My wish is that I knew you longer. My wish is that when it comes my time, you will be there. Your Pal, Buddy
In Memory of Fredcat one final Hip - Hip - hooooraaaay! I'll miss you my naturalised American chum, hope to see you in the great hereafter.
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Fredcat was so obviously loved and adored and he took that with him over the Bridge. You made him as happy as he made you. You chose some wonderful photos of this handsome boy Cathie. We are sending you comforting thoughts during this difficult time.
Fredcat, a star for a star. I just love you and I cried so much when I read your diary. What a sweet little man you were.
Many, many condolencies to Dear Cathy and the amazing Mr. B. Upon finding out that dear dear Fredcat had shook off his mortal coil I wept for a few moments (really), it is not only the end of an era but the loss of a friend with whom I shared many yarns. Yes of course I know that it was written by yourself and Mr B but it appealed to my creative side. Bless you all and thanks for sharing Fredcat with me, indeed he was a wonderful feline. Lots of love to you both,
Make it not be true, please. I am soooo sorry for you Cathie and Mr. B. Fredcat was wunderful and I loved reading his web. Poor Fredcat, I'll miss him soooo much. Cross that Rainbow Bridge Fredcat and be happy. Patsy and me, Callie Cat, will think of you all. Lots and lots of love. I'm so sorry that Fredcat the Famous has died, and I feel for his humans Cathie and Mr. B. I hope you are coping OK and can start of think of Fredcat the Famous with smiles instead of tears. Here's a cat prayer I found on the internet. I hope it helps. God bless you both.
"A Cat's Prayer" Lead me down all the right paths, Keep me from fleas, bees, and baths. Let me in should it storm, Keep me safe, fed, and warm. Let the sun shine where I lay, Keep me young so I may play. And most of all ... Bless the people I adore, And guard me from the dog next door." by Lisa Malone
Dearest Cathie and Mr. B.
It was with deep sadness that I heard about Freddy's passing. Cat, Detective, Protector, Loving Friend - he played many roles in his lifetime and we were blessed to have been able to share that lifetime with him. I'm sure that his loss is as deeply felt in the Fredcat intraweb world as it is in the Fredcat household. Try to remember all the joy that he gave you and equally all the joy you gave him in return. His favourite place was to be near you, and even being gone, I know that he's still there. There is truth to the song lyrics "When I need you, I just close my eyes and I'm with you." It's a sad fact of nature that our pets time with us is far to short. We don't know why it has to be this way. Maybe it's so we learn to cherish each moment we have with them. Because that's the way they feel about us.
Never was a cat as loved as Freddy.
Sweet dreams, little one.
With much love, Cathie and Mr. B, The Timeheart Havana's have enjoyed reading the exploits of "The Famous One" over the years. Fredcat will be missed and there will be a void in all of our lives that can never be filled.
Our hearts go out to you at this time. The Timeheart Havana's love.
Sorry for your loss, Cathie.
Oh Fredcat, I am so sorry for your humans that you have passed. My whole family is jealous, because I finally get to meet you in purrson. Let your best human know, I will watch out for you at the bridge until she is with you once again. Love,
We are so very sorry to hear about Fredcat. He found the most wonderful best human friend in the whole world. He needn't have worried that you would remember him. Rest well dear Fredcat and we will see you at The Bridge.
Dearest Fredcat -you will ALWAYS be remembered, special friend! Thanks for all the joy you have given us over the years! Sending hugs to your mum Cathie and Mr. B.
Love, Your cat friend,
Beloved Fredcat, you have been my dear companion for many years, and have brought me great joy and laughter. You have romped with my Weezer in high adventure, and even tolerated your adoring fan, my Daisy, even though she is a d*g. You've given us all so much, both my little family and all your fans around the globe. You are a true treasure, my love, and I'm grateful to have known you. You will always live in my memory, and I will hold you in my heart forever.
Hello my little friend Fredcat,
What to say? Well, I choose to say thank you, and I'm going to take this opportunity to think back about the time we shared together. You've been a wonderful friend to me, though the formative years of my life, along with your pal and mentor Forby.
We first met in Liverpool, where you decided that you liked the look of this family that came to visit, and allowed us to offer you shelter, a warm bed and as many Bix as your heart desired. Looking back at some photos of both you and us at the time, I'm always reminded of your decision to take the high road and to never stoop to shortcuts to get what you wanted. You taught me about responsibility, that I was not alone and that record players are not designed to spin at 33.3 rpm with cats on them.
Further on, near the seaside, you displayed your skills as a hunter - you showed me that patience and a single-minded desire to get something would lead to reward, especially with a 'key park' nearby.
Onwards still, and into Lancashire...and you showed me that you should never lose sight of who your real friends are. If they are ever in trouble, you showed me that you should never give up trying to help them whenever you can; especially when they find themselves behind the wrong side of a closed door.
Another chapter is to be seen in the Deep South of the UK, where you displayed the importance of being willing and able to stand your ground, and going toe to toe with bullies, who may try to steal your possessions, intimidate you or steal your food.
And then of course, you accomplished something I was never able to do - you emigrated to the US of A. Persistence, pure persistence.
And as time drew on, you showed me dignity - the dignity of an elder. Someone who has experienced as much as anyone, but doesn't feel the need to make others aware of that at all times.
For all of this, I thank you. We shared so much, and only time took us apart. My Friend, you will be sorely missed.
I will see you again - one way or another - I know this. Keep well, and never let your spark fade; please rest assured, we shan't.
Your faithful correspondent, David. I wanted to express my sorrow and sympathy as I have heard that Fred Cat The Famous has passed away. He was an awesome feline and the internet will be a little less bright without his presence on the web. There will never be a cat as cool as Fred Cat! Love, You have my most sincere condolences for your loss Cathie. Fred was loved by all who knew him, Yours truly,
Farewell Fredcat . . . . . you have touched so many lives in ways that you will never even know. You will be greatly missed not only by your best human friend Cathie, but by many, many humans that never got a chance to meet you in person. I hope you get to meet all the kitties that have passed before you and that you get to become good friends. Thank you Fredcat . . . . . for letting so many be a part of your life. Sincerely,
Fredcat, we are so sorry to hear about your passing. We are thinking of you and your family and hope that in time they will be conforted by the 18 wonderful years of memories you have shared. You will be missed. Purrrs, Diego, LuLu & Furie.
As an American citizen, you deserve this flag. We are sorry to hear of your passing. Sending you & your mom lots of purrs & hugs. Sparky & family
"A heart of gold stopped beating, Two shining eyes at rest. God broke my heart to prove He only takes the best. I know you had to leave me, But you did not go alone, For part of me went with you The day He took you home." I am so sorry for your loss, Cathie. I know what it is like to lose a beloved one. I sent an invitation to join my beloved Albert's group on Catster. It's called Rainbow Bridge Kitties. I hope Fredcat will join. There are many lovely cats and their purrrrr-sons in that group and everyone is very caring and supportive. Love
What a handsome fellow you are, Fredcat! (It goes without saying that you could be my twin!) I'm so sorry you had to come to the Bridge and leave your Cathie. We're here to welcome you and help you feel at home here until she takes you home one last time. Al
We are so sorry that Fredcat crossed to the Rainbow Bridge. He was such a handsome and loved guy. We so enjoyed his friendship on Catster and will miss him very much. May he find a million butterflys to play with at the Rainbow Bridge. Bowing our heads in a special Pirate Prayer,
This is the news I've been dreading. Fredcat was not merely a good boy. He was a superior being, a raconteur par excellence, a witty and wise confidant, and the very model of what a handsome, justifiably haughty, yet comforting friend should be. There was only one Fredcat, and his presence in my life was of inestimable
value. Thank you, Cathie and Mr. B, for always personally answering my mail to Fredcat. Mr. B, in spite of your somewhat maligned reputation, I am sure that you were Fredcat's second most loved human. You both brought Fredcat to the Internet and in doing so, shared him with all of us. How lucky we have been!
I'd like to think of Fredcat as playing in the afterlife with my own late, beloved ginger cats. He will likely take charge and be as esteemed there as he has been on this earth. To quote an English countryman of yours, "Now cracks a noble heart. Good-night, sweet prince, And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest." Love always, Fredcat's friend Dana in Los Angeles, P.S. Please oh please let me know where I can make a charitable contribution in Fredcat's name. The tears won't stop! Thanks for being there Fredcat, I am a quiet reader of your and enjoyed coming home from work and reading every new one and never emailed your Fredcat cat but his passing is so heartbreaking. I will give my little cat Boxer an extra cuddle tonite when I read Fredcat's very last diary about how he died. He was a extra special cat. No more paimkiller medicine and antibiotics for him now. Don't cry lots, remember him with smiles and laughter. I will remember him to.
Fredcat the Famous was such a funny and lovely cat to read about and it made my day to read his Diary. He was often a bright spot in my day. I will miss reading his happenings over there in America. I'm certain you will both miss Fredcat greatly. During this difficult time, I know you will draw upon your own strength and the strength of his web friends that hold him in their thoughts. Remember that the internet is filled with people who care about you and Fredcat and who are thinking about you in this difficult time of sorrow.
We'll miss Fredcat, we came by to read his adventures nearly everyday! Now, we'll have to make due with remembering the famous one...we hope your hearts can heal in time. Here is a star for a great star, a great kitty, a meowser for all time! A great pawsome dude! Those stripes on his face are everlasting!! Oh, Fredcat, the world is a sadder place without you in it. My furfamily and I are going to miss you but my uncles, Benny, Newton and Fred have probably already introduced themselves to you at the Bridge. Keep watch over your dear family. We'll miss you. My condolences to your family on their loss. Purrs from a fellow orangie-Critter".
Dear Cathie and Mr. B, We were so sorry to hear about Fredcat leaving you, even though you have so many wonderful memories of him. He was a very special cat. If you would like, we can move Fredcat from the Gorgeous Gingers Dear Cathie, I am so very sorry to hear of the demise of Fredcat, a very special cat. I know he will be sadly missed. I am happy to know that one of our Freshfields cats had such a good life and was so well loved. Thank you for taking him with you when you moved from the UK (so many dump their pets in rescue centres when they move homes). Best wishes and sincere sympathies. Lesley Tarleton, Founder of Freshfields Animal Rescue Centre. I am so sorry to hear of Fredcat's passing. He was a delightful cat who lived to a ripe old age. I will miss him dearly.
oh hell, i hate to hear that sweetie. i know what a special boy he was to you. RIP sweet Freddy.
Aww, I'm sorry to hear about Fredcat.
Aw. He looks like a good cat.
I don't have a red and white kitty, but I've got a white and black dog who means the world to me. I'm sorry for your loss. :(
Really sorry to hear about that. I remember when my kitty passed away how sad I was. Just remember all the good and fun times you had. And like Bill Watterson said after one of his cats passed away (I'm paraphrasing) "you will always be together in your dreams."
Awww. I have a red and white kitty too. Condolences from me, Jackson, and his catnip mouse.
Bummer. I used to have a cat called Fred -- I got him when I was 11 and he died of cancer when I was 20. He was a great cat. We used to call him Frederick the Great.
Sorry about your loss.
Dear Cathie and Mr B,
I was so sorry to hear of Fredcat's passing and my thoughts and prayers are with you. What an entertaining and special boy he was, and news of his daily escapades will be sorely missed by many, though of course will never compare to the hole it will leave in your hearts. How wonderful though that he touched so many people's lives and received the attention and fame in his lifetime that every cat deserves. Take care, and again my deepest condolences.
Me and my family are saddened by your passing. we'll send lots of comforting purrs to your mommy.
Dear Cathie: I am so sorry to hear about Fredcat's passing. I'm sure he will agree with me - he had a good life and he was lucky to be your companion. Here's predicting that another cat will soon find you.
Goodbye Fredcat, Thanks for being our friend. We will miss you. We send purrrs & prayers to Cathie at this difficult time.
We'll miss you Fredcat.
Hi, Cathie! Yes, I remember you and Fredcat...I am so sorry to hear that he died. I enjoyed coming over to his website now and then to see the cute pictures and read the stories. I can tell from your writings how much you loved him. Did you print out the stories into a book? I hope you are doing well. Losing a loved pet is so stressful.
Cathie, I am so sorry for your loss...we do love our animal friends dearly. I know you miss him very much...
Hi Cathie, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, and I know you are sad. You did everything humanly possible for your beloved pet, and The Mighty One knew that. Shalom,
We are all sorry for your loss. My friend put her 12 y/o cat down on Friday and my neighbor put her 15 y/o cat down last night. I has hugs for you.
Losing a pet is sad. My condolences.
Aw, I've read his website before. Sorry for your loss. :( RIP Freddy.
Sorry for your loss.
Oh, I'm so sorry :-(. I have an old cat (15 years) who is starting to look, as my neighbor so helpfully pointed out, like Calista Flockhart. I've had him since before I met my husband. He's fading and I just don't want to deal. I'm more worried about my kids dealing with his death, than with my own feelings. It's just all farked. Meh. Sorry about your kitty.
Aw, no ... so sorry; i have no words,
We send hugs and kisses for our dear friend, Fredcat.
Dearest Cathie and Mr B, You know how much I empathise with this very sad loss and there is little I can say to make you feel better right now. Just take heart in knowing that Fred had the best 'five' year span of any feline with the best and most caring of owners, who finally made the most difficult and right decision of all. I am sure that he is already with his already departed friends. I bet Forby has saved him a speck and Tigger, Snowy, Ginge, Kelly, Mrs Brockles and Smudge are waiting to have a frolic with him when he gets acclimatised to his new abode. Snotty sends a miaow in sympathy. With the best of all hugs and kisses from one cat slave to another. mx
Cathie, I am so sorry to hear of Fredcat's passing. He was a beautiful cat and his webpage put smiles on many peoples faces. Me and my babies will miss his new entries, but will never forget him. May the his soul be with you forever and his life be remembered for all the
love and happiness he gave others. With deepest sympathy,
We are sooo sorry for your loss our eyes are leaking. The only thing we can say is at least he had a great life with you two. We're deeply sorry. We just lost our two oldest dogs last year at 17 & 19. Malcolm had a stroke like Fredcat but survived it but it made him lost and blind and scared. He lost his mental facilities and we had to put him down. It was the hardest decision every but he was 19 and the vet said it was like he was 100 in human years. Selena died 6 months later at home of heart failure. We were there with her. She was 17. The had long good lives and that makes their passing ok. We dont know what else to say but were sorry for your loss.
We will miss you Fredcat. You brightened our days.
We are so sorry to hear of your passing Fredcat the Famous. You know you were greatly loved and cared for, that is all we cats can ask for in life. I know you are in a great place now. The Rainbow Bridge. You are now a healthy fella. You are in no pain. I know we will meet again one day and I will get to meet you in person. Until the day I finally get to meet my famous friend, I will be thinking of the humans that loved you so much. I will say a purr for them, I know they are having a rough time. I hope they will remember all the good times and how you completed their family. You will always be there with them, whether they know it or not. You will live on forever in their hearts.
I am glad to have known you, if only for a short while. Until we meet again, my friend. Your Catster friend,
Dear Cathie and the Grumpy One, I am so sorry that Fredcat had to die. All of us do in time, you know. It is never an easy thing for those of us left. I have looked online for Fredcat every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for over a year now. It has been a great escape for me and somewhere to hide, kind of like the favorite spot of Fredcat's under the bushes near the house. I am allergic to real cats, so Fredcat allowed me to be part of his life through you. I am wondering if you will get another Fredcat soon. From the sound of your posting, you may not. Good luck, in any case. Sorrowfully,
Smokey sends his deepest sympathy to Cathy on the loss off Fredcat ... He will be missed ---....
My famous friend Fredcat, I am so sorry to hear you have passed over the rainbow bridge. I know you are now well and healthy once again. It is your family I will purr for. I am sending lots of love to your wonderful Mom. You will always live in her heart.
It is with a very heavy heart that I am sending this. I looked with great anticipation each day to reading Fredcats diary and will miss it greatly. Fredcat and his family have become a part of my home and family and the loss will be felt more than words alone can express. Although we know that this time will come, we are never really ready for it. Cathie, please know that you and Mr. B are in my thoughts and prayers and of course, Fredcat is too.
Fredcat, thank you for blessing Cathie with so much love all those years. You were truly blessed to have Cathie, too. I can see by your website that you were a very beautiful and special cat and are much missed now that you have reached heaven and departed Earth. Know that the love for you, that Cathie has in her heart, will go on forever. You will never be forgotten. You touched Cathie and enriched her life. The memories will live on forever. I long to give your Cathie a big, heartfelt hug, if only Waterloo, Ontario was not so far away from North Carolina. I can understand how Cathie must feel as I share in the love of our two cats. Oreo is the female cat and Shelby is the male cat. They helped my children and I go through the painful grieve process after my husband passed away six years ago, after a long and painful battle with cancer. My children and I feel the pain with Cathie, at the departure of you. We will pray that God helps Cathie with her grief.
Fredcat…very special cat…one day we will all get to meet you in that special place called heaven. Your website makes it possible to know you. Thank you, Cathie. Love from,
Blessings to you and meowmy at this difficult time.... you are a HANDSOME cat and we welcome you to the Bridge, while you wait to be with your family again....."
Dear Cathie and Mr. B, I am so sorry you have lost your beloved Fredcat. This news has brought tears to my eyes. I so enjoyed reading Fredcats site for so long. Thank you for taking the time to share your stories. Fredcat will be long remembered by me. Sent with my deepest sympathies,
We are so sorry. It broke my heart to hear that. He did have a wonderful life and to be in your arms was an added blessing. I have six kitties, well, 7 now counting Mr. Vegemite who is AWOL again for two days. It will affect me deeply to lose any of them because they become family and are like your children. Thank you for sharing that with us.
Cathy, I am sorry to hear of the passing of Fred Cat. I know you talked about him a lot at RHOC and CCNC. I hope you and your family are doing well. And again my thoughts are with you. God Bless.
Oh my! Jasmine and our whole family have you in our thoughts and prayers. Fredcat was, and will always be, so very special....
Fredcat, we're so sorry you had to leave for the bridge. We know you will be sadly missed and loved forever. You are now an Angel, in Gods beautiful garden and a bright new star, in the night sky. Shine brightly for your Mom. Purrs, Pepper and Sassy"
Dearest Cathie and Mr. B - I am so so saddened to hear about Fredcat. He was a beacon of light - as I enjoyed reading all of his posts as I was going through some very dark days myself several years ago as I went through cancer treatment. Our precious pets are SO special and I konw Fredcat touched many people with his special personality and the love that came through your blog. I hope you continue to post on occasion so we can get updates on how you and Mr. B are doing . . . Thank you so much for also adding Jasmine (my little sealpoint Himmy) to the story line with Fredcat. It was just adorable and we will never forget that. Nor will we ever forget Fredcat. Sending love and prayers.
Dear All, Just needed to send you a big (HUG) to say we're so sorry to hear of Fred's passing. He'll be missed a great deal by you guys and all his cyber friends and fans. Cayt loved keeping up with his exploits on-line with me and Melissa also liked looking at the "orange cat" with us. His diary brought a lot of simple, uncomplicated fun and enjoyment to so many people and cyberspace is going to be a much poorer place without his observations and adventures. Again, we're so very sad and sorry for your loss. Take care you guys, Love,
Fredcat the Famous, A bright new star at the Rainbow Bridge. May you forever shine, so your Mom can see you every night, when she looks up into the sky. You will be loved and in her heart, forever. Purrs and hugs to you and your Mom, from Sassy and Pepper.
Dear Cathie and Mr. B, We are heartbroken at this news. We will be thinking of Fredcat all day and will light a candle for him tonight.
You are in our thoughts and prayers. In sympathy,
We are all so sorry to hear of your loss. We will miss reading his diary entries and just having his famous self around. My human cried when she heard of the loss...which meant many squeezes and tearful kisses for me. We'll miss you Fred Cat.
Dear Cathie and Mr. B, The news of Fredcat's passing has reduced us to tears, but we know that the Famous One would not want us to wallow in grief. Instead, we will say a prayer for his safe passage to the world beyond and for you to find comfort in your memories of a most wonderful cat. Thank you so much for sharing him with us. Love,
Dear Cathie and Mr. B ... Please accept my heartfelt sympathies and condolences for you both. Your hearts must be broken. I am so sorry to learn of Fredcat's death. After my cats, Jack and Tinkerbelle, were gone, I would often think of the Mighty One and how he had deigned to notice each of them in a special way. Fredcat was a truly magnanimous creature. If there is a heaven for cats (I think there is ... in our hearts if nowhere else), I'm sure that Fredcat is there and I'm equally sure that most d*gs go to h*ll ... so your Fredcat shouldn't be bothered by the remaining few good d*gs who have made it to the Great Beyond. I'm reminded, in a not so lighthearted way, of a song I heard Cream perform many years ago, "Mother's Lament." A few of the lines were ... "Your baby is perfectly happy, He won't need a bath anymore. He's amucking about With the angels above ... Not lost, Just gone on before.". Sincerely,
Hello, I was very saddened to hear about the passing of Fredcat. I enjoyed hearing his "tales". I am a major animal lover and have lost a lot of dogs. I do know the painful empty feeling when it is time for them to "go home". You had a wonderful life with Fredcat and he with you. He is waiting for you up on Rainbow Bridge.
I'll continue to check out his site ever so often. Again, my condolences. Thanks for letting your viewers know. We share your grief but look fondly back on good memories as well.
Maybe they are not stars, but gaps in heaven where the light of our furchildren shines down upon us to let us know that they are at peace. Rest well sweet Fredcat The Famous. The Cornish crew is very sad that you had to leave. Purr purr purr purr purr,
We are all so very sorry.
Hello Dear Guardians of Fredster...
Thank you for sharing the wonderful story of Fred with the world. You honored his passing over the brige, you honored his life. Thank you for sharing, and my Stumpy cat and I share in your loss and greiving. Peace be with you in your time of great loss. Again, we are sorry for the loss of our friend.
Mr B & Cathy, I am so sorry to hear about Fredcat. Loosing ones best friend is so painful. Sox & I lost her brother Tiger many years ago. We will so miss Fredcats diary. This is even more painful as my Sox suffered a stroke a couple years ago. Luckily after several weeks she was back to her normal self. Many tears have been shed for Fredcat today. Our best to you,
Words can not express how sad and sorry I am. You may or may not remember, I joined the FredCat lovers crew awhile ago. I had lost my orange and white Fred two years ago Feb. 11th to kidney failure, he was my best friend. I even had his name and pawprints tattooed in the middle of my back where he would stand while i would do the "downward dog" pose in yoga. It never failed. Your website was a little bit of my Fred living on, I enjoyed it so much. Our kitties send their love to you. Angel, Casey, Tiki, Doc, Mardi, Salem, and newly added to the herd is an all white HUGE male named Athenos...I didnt even get a chance to post his pic with the FredCat bumper sticker. Please accept my condolences, as I know that anyone who loves their cat as much as you guys do, must be feeling quite low. Purrs,
